Traffic Police City launches signatory campaign, pledged to follow road safety

Srinagar, Feb 6: Continuing with celebrations of month-long national traffic awareness, Traffic Police Srinagar City Saturday launched a signature campaign in the lawns of Kashmir University.
The spokesperson said that a signature camping was jointly launched by University of Kashmir and Traffic Police City Srinagar.
He added that organizers, participants and signatories pledged to follow traffic rules and road safety guidelines.
SSP Traffic City Srinagar Javid Ahmad Koul briefed the Vice Chancellor and the audience about the magnitude of the damage caused by the accidents.
The spokesperson added that campaign would continue till the conclusion of ongoing Road Safety Month.
He added that motorists who took a pledge of safe and secure driving also involved themselves in a signature campaign to register a message of secure driving and saving precious lives.
“The motorists were provided with a sticker of pledge with the request to display on the windshield of their vehicles,” he added. (ANN News)
