Traffic Partially Restored On Srinagar-Jammu National Highway
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The traffic movement was partially restored on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Sunday after remaining blocked for hours due to landslide in Ramban district.
Traffic Officials said, “The highway was partially restored for traffic movement today at around 03:30 pm and stranded vehicles were being cleared on regular manner.”
“The people are advised to avoid journey on the highway till the weather improves and road is clear and to consult the Traffic Control Unit (TCU) before starting their journey,” they said.
On Sunday morning, at around 11:45 am, the highway was blocked for traffic movement due to landslide at Kishtwari Pather and Sherbibi areas of Ramban district.
The Mughal Road and Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road are also blocked for traffic movement due to snow accumulation. — (KIMS)
