Tourist Dies Of Cardiac Arrest In Gulmarg

Srinagar, Jun 20: A 55-year-old tourist from Pune died due to heart attack at world famous ski-resort, Gulmarg on Thursday.

Officials identified the deceased tourist as Dr. Harsh Vardhan Shah, son of Jai Kumar Shah of Bibiwadi Kondwa area of Pune.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, they said that the tourist has died due to heart attack on way to frozen Lake Gulmarg, adding that at necessary test were conducted at G four including ECG but he was declared brought dead.

The deceased was later taken to Tangmarg hospital for necessary formalities by his family members following which Jammu and Kashmir State Cable Car Corporation provided an ambulance to the bereaved family to Srinagar’s Airport.

Managing Director State Cable Car Corporation also confirmed the death of tourist. (KNS)
