Three Shops, Two Cars Damaged In Mysterious Mendhar Blaze
Mendhar: Three shops and two cars were damaged in a mysterious fire incident in Mendhar town of Poonch district, triggering panic in the entire area on Saturday.
Reports said that mysterious fire broke out at 1 am and soon engulfed three shops and two cars parked in the town.
Firefighters reached the area and doused the flames for nearly an hour, they said. One car was fully damaged while the other suffered minor damage.
“The police is probing the matter,” said the deputy commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav.
Meanwhile, the administration is holding a joint meeting with the locals and the civil society members from all the communities to keep the situation peaceful.
