Three More Youth From South Kashmir Joins Militant Ranks
Pulwama: Three more youth from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district announced on social media their joining of militant ranks.
Showkat Ahmad Dar son of Nazir Ahmad Dar hailing from Muran village of Pulwama has reportedly joined Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit.
His picture with AK-47 has gone viral on social media, and his code name as per the picture is Badshah Khan.
A missing report was filed by his family on July 17.
Meanwhile, two more youths namely Arshid Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Rasool Dar of Marwal, Kakpora and Irfan Ahmad Digoo son of Manzoor Ahmad Digoo of Naina Batpora have announced their joining of militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) by releasing their pictures wielding weapons.
SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudhary confirmed that the pictures of the trio wielding guns have gone viral on social media and according to it have joined militancy.
Regarding Showkat, he has gone missing on the day when NC leader’s escort was attacked in Muran near Shah-i-Hamdan school.
Showkat, as per the investigations, is involved in the attack in which a policeman was killed and another injured.(GNS)
