Three militant associates arrested in Bandipora: Police
Bandipora: Bandipora Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested three militant associates in the district.
In a statement police said three militant associates were apprehended in the town identified them as Abrar Gulzar of Bagh Bandipora, Mohd waqar of Chittay Banday and Muneer Ahmad Sheikh of Quil Muqam Bandipora.
The three were arrested in case FIR No. 74/2020 U/S 16,18,39 UAPA, 7/27IA act of Ps Bandipora.
As per the investigation, they were involved in various subversive activities besides providing logistic support and assistance to militants operating in district Bandipora.
Incriminating material has been recovered from the possession of the accused persons and further Investigation of the case is going on the police statement reads.
