Three LeT militant associates arrested in Sopore, Arms & Ammunition recovered

Srinagar: Sopore Police/ 22-RR & 179 Bn CRPF in a joint operation at Shangergund on Sopore Kupwara Road arrested three Militant associates of LeT outfit having their identity as Mushtaq Ahmad Mir @ Lashkiri S/o Ab Gaffar Mir R/o Brath Kalan Sopore, Mudasir Ahmad Mir S/o Mohd Hamza Mir R/o Brath Kalan Sopore and Athar Shamas Mir S/o Shams-u-din Mir R/o Brath Kalan Sopore.

Incriminating materials including following arms and ammunitions were recovered from the possession:- UBGL Thrower 01, UBGL Grenades 04, AK- 47 Magazine 04, AK- 47 Ammunition 137 Rounds.

Regarding the incident Case FIR No. 125/2020 U/S 7/25 I. A. Act, 18, 23, 38 ULA (P) Act registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation taken up.
