Three Day Women Constable Recruitment Rally Of JK Police Going On In Full Swing At Humhama In Budgam

SRINAGAR: The recruitment of lady constables in two women battalions of Jammu and Kashmir Police is going on in full swing at RTC ground Humhama in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A police official told that scores of aspirants reached the RTC ground at Humhama to participate in the recruitment drive.

He said “This is an employment opportunity and a chance to serve the country as well, adding that participation of women in this rally is very high which is a good sign.

While talking to news agency Kashmir Dot Com on the sideline of recruitment rally one of the aspirants said, “The crimes against women, incidents of rape and women trafficking are witnessing a steep rise, I wish to be a saviour and make sure all this stops”.

“There’s a lot of unemployment in the Union Territory, youth should participate in such recruitment rallies”, she added.

The recruitment drive is being held from 28-06-2021 to 30-06-2021 at RTC ground Humhama. (KDC)
