Thief Arrested, Stolen Property Recovered By Srinagar Police

Srinagar: Police Post Rangreth,Srinagar received complaints regarding burglaries in the Rawalpora Afandibagh area and accordingly cases were registered.

To nab the burglars, a team led by Incharge Police Post Rangreth Sub-inspector Shri Shoket Ahmad Khan under the supervision of SDPO Sadder was constituted and investigation was set into motion.

During the course of investigation, the team after hectic efforts was successful in arresting one person namely Dilawar Ahmad Shah S/o Mukhtar Ahmad R/o Pushroo Naugam Anantnag from Kulgam.

During questioning, he admitted his involvement in burglary cases.On his instance electronic gadgets like laptop’s,mobile phone’s and other items were recovered from him.

By his arrest, case FIR numbers 142/2018 u/s 454, 380 RPC & 143/2018 u/s 454, 380 RPC registered in Police Station Sadder were solved .
