Theft case solved, stolen items recovered by PS Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Four thieves arrested

Jammu: On 10/4/2022, a written complaint was received from Security officer of jammu University regarding the theft of 4 AC units and one ambulance silencer from the University campus.

In this regard case FIR No.82/2022 u/s 379 IPC got registered at PS GandhiiNagar and investigation started.

After this, special police teams of PS Gandhinagar under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma were constituted. The team led by SHO PS Gandhinagar Inspr Pankaj Sharma did hectic efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up three suspects namely 1) Vishal Kumar S/O Rakesh Kumar
2) Salman S/O Anwar
3) Shubham Sharma S/O Raj Kumar

During sustained questioning, accused confessed their involvement in the above case and on their disclosure stolen items were recovered from the possession of another suspect namely Alam Ansari S/O Sultan Ansari.

It is pertinent to mention that accused namely Alam Ansari was also booked u/s 411 IPC.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
