Ten Govt employees found absent from duties in Gurez valley
DC says salary of absentees’ with-held, show-cause notices issued
Srinagar, Mar 15: Ten employees of the Agriculture department were found absent from their legitimate duties in Gurez valley of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, Tehsildar Gurez informed DC Bandipora on Monday.
As per News Agency Kashmir Dot Com, Tehsildar Gurez during a surprise inspection at Sub-divisional Agriculture office Gurez found at least ten employees unauthorizedly absent from their duties.
Absentees include Izhar-ul-Haq lone, Farooq Ahmad Jeo, Ghulam Hassan Parray, Mohd Sayeed Mir, Reyaz Ahmad Kaur, Bashir Ahmad Samoon, Mohd Iqbal Mir, Sartaj Ahmad Kinoo, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Majid Aziz Bhat.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmad told that the salaries of absentees have been withheld, adding that show-cause notices have also been issued to them.
He added that those who would not be able to provide sufficient ground for remaining absent will be strictly dealt.
Earlier, dozens of employees including from the Education department were also found absent from duties in Gurez valley after which administration is continuously keeping close eye on them. (KDC)
