Tarigami demands release of detained youth
Appeals PM Modi to fulfill his commitments
Srinagar, Nov 23 : Senior CPI(M) leader and PAGD spokesman Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Wednesday said that some people have been kept in jails without justification.
Addressing media here at Kulgam, Tarigami said that during all party meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we raised a question there as to why Kashmiri youth were kept in the jails. He said PM assured us that he would look into the matter but nothing is happening yet while the government cannot win the hearts of the youth by force and sticks.
He said that the situation has become such that there is no more space in the jails of J&K. “Unnecessarily, prisoners are now being shifted outside jails due to which, their parents are facing a lot of trouble to meet them.
“We still have the same demand that all the people detained in Jammu and Kashmir should be released, and added “The move must win the hearts of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir”. (KNS).
