Tangmarg House Blaze: Six Days After His Daughter’s Death, Man Dies In SKIMS

Baramulla: A man from Tangmarg in north Kashmir succumbed to injuries on Monday, six days after his daughter died at SKIMS Soura here in Srinagar.

Both father and daughter duo had suffered critical injuries when their house was gutted in a devastating fire at Shari Tangmarg more than a month ago. Both of them – Nazir Ahmad Yatoo and his daughter Safina (18) were shifted to SKIMS for treatment.

While Safina succumbed to injuries on June 18, Nazir Ahmad died at SKIMS today. A police officer also confirmed the death of the man. (GNS)
