Taj Mohiuddin, G M Saroori Return to Congress Today

Srinagar, June 27  : In a notable turn of events on the political front, senior leaders and former ministers Taj Mohiuddin and Ghulam Mohammad Saroori are set to rejoin the Congress party today.

Speaking to KNS, Saroori confirmed that both leaders will officially return to the party fold today.

We both have decided to rejoin back Congress, he said.

The two had earlier parted ways with Congress following the formation of Ghulam Nabi Azad’s Democratic Progressive Azad Party.

Their association with the new outfit was brief, and they went on to contest the 2024 Assembly elections as independents.(KNS)
