Strengthening Legal Preparedness: Pulwama Police Concludes 4th Phase of NCL Training At DPL Pulwama
Pulwama, Jan 4: Pulwama Police has successfully concluded the 4th phase of the Short Duration Refresher Course on New Criminal Laws (NCLs) at the District Training Centre (DTC), DPL Pulwama. The 4th phase of the training programme commenced w.e.f. 22-12-2025.
The training was aimed at enhancing the legal knowledge and professional competence of police personnel, with special focus on the provisions of the newly enacted criminal laws, namely Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), along with procedural updates and their practical application in day-to-day policing.
The sessions were conducted through structured lectures and interactive discussions by senior police officers and subject experts.
Pulwama Police is conducting the training programme in multiple phases, and further phases will follow, as part of its continued efforts to strengthen legal preparedness, improve the quality of investigations and ensure effective, professional and lawful policing.
