SSP Srinagar Presents The DGP Commendation Medal & Certificate to Awardees
Srinagar, August 10, 2025:
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy – IPS, presented the prestigious Director General of Police (DGP) Commendation Medal and Certificate to four distinguished personnel of Srinagar Police in the District Police Headquarters.
The awardees include Inspector Naseer Ahmad, Sub-Inspector Mohammad Yaqoob, Assistant Sub-Inspector Shamus-ud-din, and SG Constable Showkat Ahmad.
These officers/official were conferred with the DGP Commendation Medal and Certificate in the year 2023, in recognition of their exemplary service and meritorious contributions to law enforcement in the region.
The presentation ceremony was also attended by SP Headquarters and other officers of DPO, Srinagar.
Congratulating the awardees, SSP Srinagar commended their untiring dedication to service and expressed the hope that they would continue to set a benchmark of professionalism in the Jammu & Kashmir Police.
