Srinagar Police Chief Rakesh Balwal Repatriated to Manipur Cadre Amidst Administrative Changes
Srinagar September 28 : The Government of India has issued an order for the premature repatriation of IPS officer Rakesh Balwal to the Manipur cadre.
According to an order by Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Balwal, IPS (MA- 2012) has been repatriated from AGMUT to Manipur cadre.
The order has been passed following the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The approval has been granted by the Appointments committee of the Cabinet, almost month after the proposal by the MHA.
Rakesh Balwal has been serving as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Srinagar and has garnered recognition for his diligent efforts in reducing the crime rate in the region.
His forthcoming posting in Manipur marks the next phase of his illustrious career in the Indian Police Service.
