Srinagar Police arrested two drug peddlers, contraband recovered

Srinagar: In its endeavour to eradicate all forms of social evils, District Police Srinagar have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession.

During checking at Baba Dawood Khaki Bridge Police Party of Police Station Khanyar spotted two suspicious persons who after noticing Police Party tried to escape from the spot but were nabbed tactfully by the checking party, during their personal search approximately 06 grams of Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from their possession.

Both have been identified as Mohd Imran Khan S/o Abdul Rehman Khan R/o Narkara Budgam and Wahid Ahmad Chola @ John Chola S/o Abdul Ahad Chola R/o Aram Masjid Khanyar Srinagar.

In this regard Case FIR No. 109/2020 U/s 8/21, 29 NDPS ACT stands registered in Police Station Khanyar and further investigation is in process.
