J&K Sports Council to put performers to put bid for corporate houses
Srinagar, June 24: Srinagar is all set to host J&K Qualifiers League from which best cricketers will be put to bid for corporate houses.
J&K Qualifiers League is the first Srinagar based cricket tournament of which all matches will be professionally telecasted on TV. The tournament is organized by ANN News in collaboration with the J & K Sports Council.
Sixteen teams have registered for the tournament and entries have been closed. The inaugural match is likely to be held at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Srinagar.
“The performance of our crickets will be watched by cricket lovers across the globe on TV. The best part of this tournament is that the best performers will be put to bid and corporate houses will make their teams out of them,” said organizers.
The T20 matches will be played in day and night format in the professional cricket stadiums of Srinagar.
In the recent past, the government has taken various initiatives for augmentation of sports infrastructure which has helped players to polish their skills in relevant sports.
As all matches will be professionally telecasted on ANN News besides its official social media pages, the performance of local cricketers will be watched by game lovers across the globe.
Pertinently, J&K Sports Council has taken many historic initiatives for the promotion of various games and provide opportunities to the players to showcase their talent and polish it at different levels.
The tournament will commence in July 2023.
