Srinagar Admin holds Pledge taking ceremonies across District to mark Constitution Day celebrations

ADC Srinagar read out the preamble of the Constitution along with Officers/Officials at DC Office Complex

Srinagar Nov 26: To mark the Constitution Day, celebrated every year on 26th November to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India, the District Administration Srinagar today organised Preamble reading ceremonies in all the Government Offices across the District.

The main function was held at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex where Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Khalid Hussain Malik read out the preamble of the Constitution along with all senior Officers and Officials of the DC Office Srinagar.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADC urged upon all Officers/Officials to maintain a sense of brotherhood, achieve the idea of social, economic and political justice, liberty of thought and expression, equality among all and section of fraternity as enshrined in the preamble of our Constitution.

Meanwhile, the similar functions were also held in all District Offices of Srinagar, during which participants read Preamble and expressed their strong will to secure all its citizens justice, liberty and equality. Besides, promote among them all fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation.
