Special Crime Wing, Crime Branch Jammu presents charge-sheet against Father- Son duo in a fraud, impersonation and cheating case
September 30: Special Crime Wing ,Crime Branch Jammu presented 142 pages charge-sheet against accused persons namely Navdeep Singh and his father and Nirmal Singh S/O Gian Singh both R/O sehora near Ravi Dass Ji Mandir Kunjwani Jammu in case FIR No. 26/2022 U/S 419,420, 465,467,120-B RPC of Police Station Special Crime Wing Jammu being investigated by Inspector Deepak Thakur I/O of Special Crime Wing, Crime Branch Jammu under overall supervision of Sandeep Kumar Mehta(JKPS) SSP, Spl Crime Wing Crime Branch Jammu in the Hon’ble Court of Sub-Judge 13 FC Jammu after their involvement in cheating, impersonation and duping the complainant hard earned money .
A written complaint was lodged by the complainant namely Jarnail Singh S/O Dharam Singh R/O H.No.15 Sector No.4 Sanjay Nagar, Jammu against the Navdeep Singh S/O Nirmal Singh , Nirmal Singh S/O Gian Singh both R/O Sehora Near Ravi Dass Ji Mandir Kunjwani By-Pass Jammu, prop. NAS Enterprise Malik Market Channi Himmat Jammu for cheating and duping the complainant of his hard earned money of Rs. 4.05 lacs on pretext of utilizing his services for installation of 13 numbers of HVDS Electrical Poles at DT 56 Sector -4 Channi Himmat Jammu and also installation of 32 HVDS Electrical Poles at RC Feeder-1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu. On this a Preliminary Verification was got conducted and finally, Upon this complaint, a case FIR No. 26/2022 U/S 419,420, 465,467,120-B RPC of Police Station Special Crime Wing Jammu.
During the course of investigation, it was found that the accused persons have received the service of the complainant for supervision of work of pole installation and material and labour was to be provided by the accused persons for the purposes of installation of poles and they will pay Rs.3000/- (Per pole installation charges) for supervision to the complainant. It was further told to the complainant that actual cost of each pole is Rs.9000/- which accused have to pay to said Nirmal Singh for taking over the said poles from Nirmal Singh and after installation and total amount of Rs.12000/- will be paid by the accused to the complainant as the accused has to pay Rs.9000/- per pole to Nirmal Singh before lifting the poles. The accused persons in connivence with each other having dishonest intention have induced the complainant to deliver a sum of Rs. 4.05 lacs as advance money. Thereby causing wrongful loss to the compliant and consequential wrongful gain to the themselves.
Therefore, after a thorough investigation the offence U/S 419,420, 465,467,120-B RPC are fully established and proved against the 02 accused persons and charge-sheet has been filed before the Hon’ble Court of Law for Judicial determination.
