South Kashmir Districts Shut To Mourn Militants Killing

Shopian/Pulwama: Normal life was crippled in Pulwama and Shopian districts of South Kashmir on Sunday as both districts observe complete shutdown against killing of two militants.
Two militants including top Al Badr Commander Zeenat-ul-Islam and Shakeel Ahmad, Resident of Sugan and Chilipora village in Shopian district were killed in an encounter with government forces at Khatpora area of Kulgam district on Saturday evening.
All shops, educational institutions, business establishments remained closed in twin districts of South Kashmir, while as traffic movement was also not visible on roads.
Authorities also snapped down mobile internet services in Shopian district as a precautionary measure. Further, train service was also suspended in South Kashmir to maintain law and order.
