South Asia Peace Movement Organizes Youth Conference In Srinagar
Srinagar: South Asia Peace Movement Thursday held a round table conference with the youth of Downtown Srinagar.
The conference was aimed at to listen their grievances, opinions and suggestions on various issues.
Most of youth complained lack of employment opportunities.
They said lack of industries, factories is a major cause of unemployment.
They said government of India is not doing anything to tackle with this issue.
It was a healthy session wherein all youth participants expressed desire to be continue the part of such events.
South Asia Peace Movement chairman Tariq Bhat impressed up on youth to come forward for contributing in making society better.
He also assured them that he would use his good offices for redressal of their grievances.
Few youth who are facing stone pelting cases expressed desire to resume normal life.
Tariq Bhat assured them every possible help for their effort to start the civilized life.
Bhat also clarified to them that government of India is releasing crores of rupees under different schemes for the youth and their employment.
However, it is local governments which has decided and failed to come up to the expectations of Kashmiri youth.
