Sopore Trade Body Elected Hashmutullah As Their President

Sopore, Oct 28: The Traders Federation in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district held its elections on Sunday in which Qazi Hashmutullah was elected as the president.

Two candidates were in the contest in which Qazi Hashmatullah topped with 1180 votes while the other contestant Haji Mohammad Ashraf Ganie and bagged 997 votes respectively.

The total number of votes were 3000 out of 2189 were casted for two contests.

Hashmatullah runs a general store in the town.

The election was held under the supervision of trade election board Sopore at Guru Hospital.
