Social Political Activist Ubaid Mir Greets People On Eid-Ul-Fitr

Srinagar, May 23: Social Political Activist Ubaid Mir greets people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-fitr and urges people to not forget the poor and needy.
In his message of felicitation, Ubaid reminded the people about the essence of the festival, especially remembering the poor and needy and sharing happiness with them.
He further said the spirit behind observance of Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadhan, is to express our gratitude to the Almighty Allah for giving us courage to observe fasts and rededicate ourselves to truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, patience and piety, thus showing complete obedience to Allah.
He expressed the hope that this auspicious occasion will strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and bring peace, prosperity and well-being to the Union Territory and the people all over the world.
“People of J&K have time and again demonstrated their strong belief in mutual co-existence, which is the essence of state’s unique multiculturalism and we would continue to uphold those unique values,” Ubaid Mir said.
May Almighty Allah bless all of us and protect the humanity from the corona virus and other diseases and grant quick recovery to those who are affected, he added added.
Ubaid added that all the Muslims must celebrate this Eid by following the necessary norms for avoiding social physical gathering and hoped this festival infuses the sense of one among all the communities of our Jammu and Kashmir.
