Social Activist Celebrate Raksha Bandhan By Tying Rakhi To Indian Army Jawans In Anantnag

ANANTNAG — As the country celebrated Raksha Bandhan on Sunday, tying rakhi’s who vowed to protect them. The festival celebrates the bond between a brother and a sister.
In South Kashmirs Anantnag district Social worker celeberates Raksha Bandhan with Army Jawans of 1 Rashtriya Rifles at Highground Anantnag.
On Sunday in show of solidarity and bonding, prominent social worker Mrs Sheela Kaul tied the rakhi to the jawans of Indian Army’s at Anantnag High Ground and celebrated the festival of brother and sister bond with brave Army Jawans.
The programme was organised by Army’s (One) 1 Rashtriya Rifles.
This initiative will strengthen the inherent bond among the various cultures, states and people of the country.
The jawans of army expressed their gratitude to the leader and women and all women present at the event took the initiative to thank the soldiers for their immense service to the nation.
Same here Kashmiri Pandits at vessu colony also Celeberate Raksha Bandhan with fervour and gaiety atleast 328 families celebrated the pious festival of rakshabandhan with full zest and zeal.
