Snowfall Disrupts Air, Highway Traffic In Kashmir
Srinagar: Fresh snowfall in Kashmir valley has disrupted air and highway traffic on Saturday.
According to an official, “due to heavy snowfall at Jawahar tunnel, the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway has been closed for traffic”. He also added “the historic Mughal road and Srinagar-Sonamarg road has also been closed for traffic movement due to slippery road conditions”.
Meanwhile, according to an official, “air traffic from Srinagar airport was also suspended due to bad weather conditions and it will be restored once weather improves”.
