Snow Drop Issues Clarification After Reports of Arsenic in Water Bottles
Srinagar, October 13:
Packaged drinking water brand Snow Drop has issued an official clarification following reports about contamination in its bottled water. The company confirmed that the issue pertains only to the 2L Pack – Batch No. 0062 (Manufactured March 2025), which has already been withdrawn from the market.
In a press release, Snow Drop stated that this specific batch was near expiry and had been brought back earlier, ensuring no current stock of the affected batch is available in the market.
The company added that the Food Department had shared a notice to ensure that any leftover bottles, if found, are cleared immediately.
“All other stocks available in the market are safe for consumption and meet all quality standards,” the statement read.
Snow Drop further assured consumers that it is investigating the matter in coordination with the Food Department and reiterated its commitment to maintaining top-quality standards across all its products.
