Shutdown in Awantipora over power crisis

All shops and other business establishments remained closed in the town to protest against Power Development Department (PDD).

A complete shutdown is being observed today in Awantipora township of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the power crisis in the area.

The locals and shopkeepers said that the PDD was resorting to unscheduled and long power cuts in the area.
