Shooting Stones Injure Cop, 2 Civilians
Ramban: An assistant sub-inspector of traffic police and two civilians were injured after being hit by stones that came hurtling down a hill along the Jammu-Srinagar highway at Anokhifall Battary Chasma area on Thursday evening.
The injured, ASI Ajay Khokar, Mukesh Singh of Rajasthan and Muhammad Arif of Tatarsoo were taken to Ramban district hospital.
The highway has been closed for the past four days. But after slight improvement in weather Thursday, many stranded passengers crossed slide-prone areas on foot.
