Shooting Stones Block Vehicular Movement On Srinagar-Jammu National Highway
JAMMU (KIMS) — Due to fresh snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, the vehicular movement on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway has been blocked due to intermittent shooting stones at several places in Ramban district.
According to traffic officials, the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway is blocked for vehicular movement due to intermittent shooting stones at several places following heavy rainfall along National Highway and snowfall between Ramsoo and Banihal. The road is also blocked at Sherbibi area of the district.
The traffic officials have advised people to avoid journey on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway until the road is cleared and to consult the Traffic Control Unit (TCU) before starting their journey.
The officials also said that the Mughal Road and Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road are also blocked for vehicular movement due to snow accumulation. — (KIMS)
