Sher-e-Kashmir’s name will remain in hearts always: Omar Abdullah
Srinagar, Aug 17 : National Conference Vice-President and former Chief Minister J&K Omar Abdullah Thursday said Sher-e-Kashmir’s name will remain in the hearts of people eternal and added, “Those removed name of Sher-e-Kashmir from regional institutions will get removed themselves from J&K soon.”
“Those removed name of Sher-e-Kashmir from regional institutions will themselves get removed soon. Let them to erase, the next government will restore the name. The name of Sher-e-Kashmir is and will remain in the hearts of people, which can never be erased,” former chief minister Omar Abdullah as per KNS said while talking to reporters at Nawa-e-Subha party headquarters here.
He said NC is hopeful of the proceedings underway in the Supreme Court pertaining to Article 370 and 35(A). “Article 370 is being heard in the Supreme Court. Our counsel has put forth valid arguments during hearing. We are hopeful the SC will deliver justice to the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
To a query he said, instead of hiring TCS for conducting JKSSB exams, the Lieutenant Governor led government should restore and strengthen the existing method of conducting exams in JKSSB which had held unlimited exams in a fair and transparent manner in past. (KNS)
