‘Shell-type’ object found in north Kashmir’s Kupwara
Srinagar, Dec 3: A “shell type object” has been found lying along Kupwara-Lolab road at Goos in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.
Quoting the officials, news agency reported that the suspicious object was found by some passersby lying along the road near Public Park, following which security forces cordoned off the area.
A BDS team has been called in to the site, an official said adding the vehicular traffic along the road has been suspended till further orders.
A police official told that joint team of police and security forces is at the site while further details into the incident are awaited.
