Srinagar, March 40: At least 86 students arrived at Srinagar airport on Friday and most of them were moved to quarantine facility where they will be kept in isolation for two weeks in a bid to prevent spread of coronavirus, officials and sources said.

They said several students escaped from the airport while their screening was being done.

“It was not immediately known whether they were screened or escaped without undergoing the screening and completing other formalities,” they added.

They said all passengers arriving from outside at the airport have to undergo mandatory quarantine as such most of them were taken to the facilities set up by the authorities in Srinagar.
