Seven Earthquakes Jolted Jammu And Kashmir, Ladakh
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — At least seven earthquakes of moderate intensity hit Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Union Territory on Monday.
The first earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.5, struck Zanskar, Kargil, at 3:48 PM, followed by a 3.8 magnitude tremor at 3:57 PM with the same epicentre.
Two more earthquakes of magnitude 4.8 and 3.6 at 4:01 PM and 4:18 PM jolted the Kishtwar region.
The fifth earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.4, originated in Zanskar, Kargil, at 4:44 PM.
The sixth and seventh earthquakes of magnitude 3.1 and 3.4 at 9:13 PM and 9:36 PM rattled the Kishtwar region. — (KIMS)
