SDM Duroo thrashed by Army, vehicle damaged

Srinagar: A sub district magistrate was on Tuesday thrashed by Army and his official vehicle was also damaged while he was on his way to Qazigund.

Reports said that the SDM was stopped by  the Army near Ujroo. They claimed that SDM Duroo had an argument with the Army officer.

Army officer allegedly manhandled the SDM and damaged his vehicle.

Sources also claimed that the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag has rushed to the spot and a meeting of the officials in underway in the district.
