*School of Law condole demise of Kawoosa*

 

*Srinagar, March 7:* The Faculty of Law, University of Kashmir (KU), Monday condoled the demise of of Javeed Ahmad Kawoosa, Former Additional Advocate General.

Kawoosa is one of the legal luminaries of the School of Law, KU.

A statement of KU issued here said that a condolence meet was held at School of Law wherein all faculty members participated.

Paying tributes to the deceased, Dean and Head of Department School of Law, Kashmir University Prof Beauty Banday said that services of the deceased were exemplary in society.

 

The faculty members recollected that the deceased was an efficient student who later proved his mettle and held a prestigious post and served society at large as a professional legal luminary.

 

The participants in the condolence meet prayed for the peace to the departed soul and expressed solidarity with bereaved family.

 

Meanwhile, students of School of Law, KU, held a separate condolence meet and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.

 

Kawoosa had represented various government departments before the J&K High Court in his capacity as Additional Advocate General.
