School Heads, ZEOs, CEOs to attend duties; Teachers to stay home : Education Department

Srinagar: The authorities in school education department on Friday said that headmasters, ZEOs, Principals, CEOs, HoDs and concerned engineers involved in works and implementation of centrally sponsored schemes should attend their duties.

The order in this regard has been issued by Principal Secretary School education department, Asgar Samoon. In the order, it is stated that only teachers were supposed to stay at their homes.

“No school teacher to attend the duties at school as class work is suspended. All the school teachers to stay home till further orders,” reads the order.

The order further states that only headmasters, ZEOs, Principals, CEOs,  HoDs, concerned engineers involved in works and implementation of centrally sponsored schemes or educational administrative matters were exempted and permitted to attend the school but to maintain social distance
