Russia Launches Massive Drone and Missile Attack on Ukraine
Kyiv, Sept 28:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Russian armed forces carried out one of their largest overnight airstrikes between Saturday and Sunday, launching 500 combat drones and more than 40 missiles against Ukraine.
Speaking in Kyiv on Sunday morning, Zelenskyy confirmed that at least four people were killed in the latest Russian assault, while the country’s civilian infrastructure suffered heavy damage.
In a post on the social media platform Telegram, the Ukrainian president wrote: “Moscow wants to continue its war and the killing of people through its aggression against Ukraine. It deserves the full weight of international pressure to stop this violence.”
