Reuters photojournalist Danish Siddiqui killed in Kandahar clashes: Report
Pulitzer Prize-winning Indian photographer Danish Siddiqui has been killed in clashes between Taliban and Afghan forces in Kandahar, reports said today.
Quoting sources, TOLO News reported that Siddiqui, who worked as a chief photographer with Reuters news agency, was killed in Kandahar’s Spin Boldak district.
The Indian journalist had been covering the situation in Kandahar, reported The Quint.
AFP reported that Afghan forces clashed with Taliban fighters in Spin Boldak after an operation was launched to retake the vital border crossing with Pakistan on Friday. GK
