Restrictions to continue in Pulwama for next one week

Pulwama July 30: In view of continuous spurt of COVID positive cases and resultant deaths; restrictions shall continue till morning of 6th August in the district.

However, essential services and supplies shall continue to operate.
Situation in pulwama is quite alarming as double digit surfacing of cases on daily basis has put the health authorities on alert . Out of total 1395 cases 651 cases are active positive besides death toll rising to 19.

Accordingly to safeguard lives, public health and inorder to break the chain of infection , district administration has directed to have bar on social gatherings and congregations.

Already for the ease of public, relaxations were granted by the Administration for regulated and roaster wise opening of shops for three days ending on 30th July.

Accordingly all residents have been appealed to cooperate and strictly abide by the social distancing norms and SOPs. Universal usage of face masks is most important to break the transmission chain.
