Restoration Work in Full Swing After Snowfall in J&K: CM Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, Jan 6   Following heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, especially in the Valley, restoration efforts are in full swing and being closely monitored, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Saturday.

He stated that the current electricity load in the Valley stands at 1200MW and is expected to rise through the day. Snow clearance operations are focused on priority roads.

Meanwhile, Ministers Sakina Itoo and Javaid Dar, along with Advisor Nasir Sogami, will visit various districts to assess the situation.

Authorities are ensuring swift restoration of essential services to minimize inconvenience to the public. (KNS)
