Residential property of drug peddler attached in Pulwama
Pulwama, Mar 9: As part of its continued crackdown against narcotics-related activities, Pulwama Police today attached a double-storeyed residential house valued at ₹49,73,207 belonging to Inayat Tariq S/O Tariq Ahmad Lone R/O Kakapora, Pulwama.
The property, constructed on land bearing Khasra No. 1363 min (Abadi-i-Deh), Khewat No. 214, Khata No. 616 situated at Kakapora, Pulwama, was identified as having been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal sale of drugs and narcotics.
Accordingly, the said property was attached in connection with FIR No. 269/2025 registered at Police Station Pulwama under sections 8/21, 29 NDPS Act and 207, 3/181 Motor Vehicles Act.
The attachment process was carried out in the presence of a duly constituted police team, Executive Magistrate, Lambardar and Chowkidar ensuring full compliance with all legal procedures and protocols.
Pulwama Police reiterates its firm commitment to combat the menace of drug trafficking and will continue to take stringent action against individuals involved in narcotics trade. The general public is urged to share any information related to drug peddling with Police so that strict action can be taken against the offenders.
