RDA appeals authorities to withdraw ‘discriminatory order’
ANN News Network
Srinagar, Apr 12: Appealing authorities to withdraw the order, Resident Doctors Association (RDA) Tuesday said that recent order issued by UT of J&K vide order
no 282-JK(HME) Of 2023 is discriminatory and deleterious for the
viability of health system.
In a statment issued here, it said that it is evident from the order that
the doctors who have done the graduation in India in general
and in J&K in particular will have meagre chances for
appointment for the various posts and
the foreign graduates will have an edge which is unfair.
“There
are other ways of ensuring equal opportunities for all like
previously mentioned about the recruitment for permanent
posts in health department, a (common entrance test),” it reads.
“We therefore urge the J&K administration to relook into
the order and take the necessary measures for its rectification
so that equal opportunities are provided to all the aspirants,” it adds.
The RDA has appealed authorities to withdraw the order with immediate effect to avoid injustice and discrimination.
