Ramadhan Moon sighted, holy month commences from Tomorrow

Srinagar, April 2: The holy month of Ramadhan will begin on April 3, this year, in Jammu and Kashmir as the moon has been sighted, announced J&K Grand Mufti on Saturday evening.
He said that moon sightings have been reported from various places across the J&K.
“The moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadhan has been sighted. Ample of testimonies have been received. The holy month will begin from April 3, Sunday,” Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam announced during live Tv transmission of ANN News.
“We have received ample testimonies,” he said, adding the first Taraweh will be offered today (April 2).
