Qazigund Gunfight: Fresh Firing Resumes At Encounter Site
Qazigund: Fresh firing resumes at encounter site after forces tried to enter the house to search for bodies.
A Senior Police officer told News agency GNS that while the forces were entering the house where militants were hiding after it was destroyed by planting IED some militants hiding inside fired on forces triggering again gunfight.
He further said that three militants have been killed and we believe two more are hiding at encounter site.
Earlier encounter had started in wee hours at Chowgam area of Qazigund of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. More details to follow. (GNS)
