Qari Khalil-Ur-Rehman Madni Dies In Madina Munawwara
Internationally renowned Qari Khalil-ur-Rehman Madni has died in Madina Munawwara, his Namaz e-Janaza will be offered in Masjid-e-Nabvi after Fajar prayers on Tuesday. He will be buried in Jannat-ul-Baqi.

Qari Khalil-ur-Rehman Madni, hailing fromAzad Jammu and Kashmir, was the teacher of teachers ‘Aima’ (prayer leaders) of Harmain Sharafain.
He was appointed teacher in Madina Munawwara and Makkah Mukarma in the year 1960 on the request of the Saudi government.
He was the teacher of Imam of Masjid-e- Nabvi, Qari Muhammad Ayub, Imam of Masjir-ul-Haram Qari Ali Jabir and various other ‘Aima’ (prayer leaders) serving in various mosques of Saudi Arabia were his pupils.
Qari Khalil-ur-Rehman was the real brother of the first District Qazi of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Muhammad Salman of Karian Patehka.
Late Qari Khalil Alqari was the father of prayer leader of Taraveeh, in Masjid-e-Nabvi, Qari Muhammad Khalil and Qari Ahmed Khalil and uncle of the teachers of Masjid-e-Nabvi, Mufti Jamil-ur-Rehman and Qari Shafiq-ur-Rehman.
Furthermore, the three sons of the late Qari were prayer leaders of Masjir-e-Qiblatain, Masjid-e-Quba and mosques of Governor Madina Munawwara. One of his aforementioned sons died last year.
Saudi government has conferred Saudi citizenship to the whole family of late Qari Khalil as a tribute to their religious services. Qari Khalil hailed from Karian Mandal area of district Muzaffarabad, AJK.
