Pulwama Youth Mudasir on Mission SOS, Amid Covid19 lockdown

Pulwama: A Youth from South Kashmir’s Pulwama district Join SOS Mission when he was a student of Class 9th and serves destitutes fore to front in crucial times in Valley From last Couple of year’s.

Mudasir Ahmad Dar hailed from small hamlet of Mughalpora village of Pulwama at South Kashmir serves destitutes/needy of almost 200 hundred families during this lockdown due to Pandemic Covid 19.

Apart from that, during the crises be in 2010 or floods 2014 and on 2019 Mudasir had always been on the forefront to help people by reaching out to them by the way of “Sajid Iqbal foundation”

In 2019 he had been on the task of making houses for the widows who were living in Tin shed and he had helping these widow women In every capacity through “Sajid Iqbal Foundation”.

During the Present Pandemic Covid 19 lockdown Mudasir is tirelessly working under the banner of said Foundation distribute essential food kits among destitutes/ needy families in different corners of the valley especially this souther district Pulwama.

He distribute fullfood kit to needy including 45 kg of Rice and other basic essential items almost for one month /per family and so far serves 200 houses and sets target up to 2000 Families during the Pandemic Covid 19 as working closely day and night.

His Foundation distribute so far 2500 three layer masks to elderly people and chronic patients in different parts and apart from 1000 PPE kits,N95 Masks ,oxygen cylinders to were given to various hospitals across the valley.

Mudasir Dar is Presently the state head for “Sajid Iqbal foundation”( the organization that works for “peace and human Rights ,)He is also state coordinator of youth programs for centre for dialogue and Reconciliation”.

He is an enthusiastic student cum social Activist was conferred With “Rajya Puraskar” Award (Governor Award)in World Scouting, the organization from where he learned to help others and took Oath that I will do my best to do my duty to Allah Almighty and to help other people irrespective of caste, creed and Religion.

He achieved another feat in the year 2014 was conferred “Rastripati award” (President award) in World Scouting in same field Of Social Service.

In Education and Student related issues Mudasir had done tremendous work for the students belonging to underprivileged families and even pellet victim students.

He had been very vocal on students related issue throughout J&K and been part of various national and international conferences that were related to students and other peace building measures.

He was organizer of various such events on district and state level and recently an Event was organized in Delhi Public school srinagar in collaboration with Center for dialouge and Reconciliation,the theme of event was” “Peace in south Asia “

Mudasir did MBA from IUST and during all this post higher secondary grade he had been doing work for students in what capacity he could do .

He was initially a member of All Jammu and Kashnir Students Union -(AJKSU) since 2018 I took President of AJKSU.
