Pulwama youth brought back along with snatched weapon: ADGP
Srinagar, Jan 01 : Additional director general of police Kashmir zone Vijay Kumar on Sunday said the youth involved in weapon snatching in Below village of Pulwama district has been brought back with the assistance of family.
Kashmir zone police while quoting ADGP on its official Twitter handle informed the youth was brought back along with the snatched weapon.
Police further said investigation into the incident was going on, while they appreciate the role of the family.
“With assistance of family, Police brought back Irfan Bashir Ganie @ soba Ganie Aged about 25yrs S/o Bashir Ahmad R/o Below Pulwama along with AK-47 rifle which he snatched from CRPF personnel today morning. Investigation going on. We appreciate the role of family,” it said. (KNS)
