Pulwama Police Warns Against Circulation of Provocative or Anti-National Content on Social Media

Pulwama, Nov 12: Pulwama Police has issued a stern advisory cautioning citizens against sharing, posting, or reacting to social media content that promotes hate, misinformation, or anti-national narratives.

The advisory follows instances of insensitive and provocative posts observed on various platforms. Police emphasized that such actions not only violate the law but also threaten communal harmony and public order.

Citizens have been urged to exercise restraint and responsibility while using social media and to verify information before engaging with it.

Pulwama Police also warned users against interacting with fake or suspicious accounts, especially those operated from across the border, aimed at disturbing peace and spreading false narratives.

The police reiterated that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found involved in the creation or circulation of hate-filled, divisive, or anti-national content online.
